Since 1978, ACA has been defending your rights as a US citizen living abroad. For only $70 a year you can help ACA with its important work on behalf of Americans living and working overseas.

As a member of ACA you will receive regular electronic mailings of the "News Update," published ten times a year, which contains important information on legislation and issues affecting US citizens living overseas. You will also receive news about ACA's work throughout the year; ACA's attendance at the Washington DC "Overseas Americans Week," ACA collaboration with PEW and OVF (voting issues), ACA's interface and dialog with the Americans Abroad Caucus addressing issues such as: tax equalization, voting, citizenship. Medicare and Social Security benefits, and overseas banking problems.

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

There are four membership types to choose from (the following links will redirect you to PayPal to complete your transaction, for more options, see below):

Regular Membership: for those under 65, renewable yearly at $70

Senior Membership: for those over 65, renewable yearly at $55

Contributing Member: for those who can contribute a bit more on top of their membership, renewable yearly at $170

Lifetme Membership: One time payment of $600

If you aren't ready to join us, you can also make a donation or other payment of any amount to ACA.

Yearly membership dues are payable on a once-a-year renewal basis calculated from the day you join. For your convenience we have set up a yearly automatic reminder system through PayPal. However, if you would rather not receive the reminder you can disable this function in your PayPal profile after joining ACA.

Your cancelled check or charge card billing is proof of payment and membership.

NON-PAYPAL PAYMENT OPTIONS

If you are unable to pay online, please fill out our membership form and send this to our office in Geneva (American Citizens Abroad, 5 rue Liotard, 1202 Geneva, Switzerland) along with your USD check (or alone if paying by transfer or credit card transaction by phone). You may also fax the form to our Geneva office at +41 22 3400233

To pay by credit card (not through PayPal) you may indicate on your membership form that you would like us to call you to take your credit card payment over the phone (in USD). For  your security, please do not send credit card information through the mail or to our email address.
